Clean Tank, from Full to Nearly Empty – With Minimal Water Loss
The great news? The majority of water tanks can be cleaned while they are still full, using a non invasive vacuum system.
Tank Cleaning While Full: We access the tank (often via a manhole) and carefully vacuum out the accumulated sludge and sediment from the bottom, leaving your main water supply intact with minimal water loss.
Full Empty & Scrub (When Needed): If the contamination levels are extremely high, for instance, if the tank has never been cleaned, or if there is significant animal contamination,a full empty may be necessary. In these cases, our technicians will fully drain and physically scrub the interior walls and base.
Optional Water Hygiene & Bacterial Control
We offer an optional tank sanitisation treatment that we highly recommend if your tank has been contaminated.
This process involves applying a tank safe disinfectant to the remaining water or tank walls for bacterial control as part of a healthy, clean water management strategy. It’s the final step to ensuring your water is safe and potable.
